An orientation programme was organised for the parents of Grade I on 5th April in school. The aim was to familiarise the parents, our ‘partners in progress’, with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, teaching methodologies and the co-scholastic activities
The teachers guided the parents about how to nurture their children by not only focussing on academics but also on learning important skills to succeed in life. The collaborative effort of the school and home, parents, and teachers helps the child in becoming a confident adult. The parents were briefed about the rules and regulations of the school. Later, the respective class teachers gave an overview of the various subjects and the activities which would be undertaken in the year ahead.
The orientation programme ended on a positive note with an aim of helping the children to grow into happy, skilful and creatively well- adjusted citizens.
